The Americans

In 1972 I was in Cienaga, Colombia SA. My friends and I were enjoying Arepas de huevo and Guarapo, while waiting for the Ferry to Barranquilla. Carlos, who we called the Joker, played a song for me “Los Americanos.” He said it was Political, and that it made fun of America. I did not get it, maybe because I was 14. Now, I think it applies to everyone born on the American Continent.

Los Americanos (Piero)
(some lyrics)
